It has been awhile since i heard my daughter Patty sing.  I miss her voice and her singing.  Today, i am glad she recorded a song, even if it is just a her voice, i would have preferred a video but better than nothing.  I have been asking her to sing again.  This is her singing with a friend.  I hope you like it!

Our Thanksgiving feast on chinese food!

Unlike most people celebrating their Thanksgiving Day yesterday, we had a feast on chinese food, instead of turkey.  Hubby and I went to Canada, which is very close to where we live, to pick up Chinese food.  Surprisingly, the borders were so quiet, nothing like the past years.  We got in and out of Canada quickly so we started the feast around 3:30PM and got home before 8PM with a lot of leftovers, good for another week of feast.  People may think we are weird but i guess it is not much about the food but more about the company and how we celebrate the day full of thanks and gratefulness in our hearts for the many blessings in our life.  I hope you all had a great one!

I am not alone!

My husband and I always go to this place around the area for the best chili in town.  I so love their chili.  For many years that we have been going there, i always pull the door instead of pushing it, even with the big sign right there in front of me that says "PUSH"!
