In a previous post, i was talking about halloween which made me thought about sharing a video which i find fit for the halloween season. I hope you enjoy it like i did! What makes it funny is seeing how people usually react in different situations. It's like i am seeing myself there, lol! But please, don't try to do these especially if you are not sure about the health conditions of people you wanna play these pranks with. Here is the video for your entertainment.

Book Your Trips With Hotel Reservations

I was just chatting with my Indonesian friend who went to a two-week vacation last August in Germany, Austria and Italy. She was with another friend who is also my friend and from the photos she sent me, it is pretty obvious that they really had a blast! She told me, "you should see those very beautiful sceneries with flower-filled rolling hills and valleys that you only see in the movies!" I suddenly felt envious and promised myself to see these someday. Didn't I tell you that they planned their trip with the help of Hotel Reservations, which I strongly suggested when they asked me before their trip? They are just so grateful they booked their trip with Hotel Reservations. My friend said that on her next trips which she does every year, she would always use Hotel Reservations and have even recommended it to her boss who is going on a holiday trip in China next month. I am just glad I was able to help, you know.

Hotel Reservations could find you the best deals on flights, hotels, motels, resorts, car rentals and vacation packages. You can get huge hotel discounts up to 70% if you book with them. I never tire sharing this site with my friends and family because it saves you a lot of money without compromising quality of your trips. I have yet to use their services but I will surely book with them in my next vacation that I so look forward to, hopefully next year! I enjoy browsing through the net looking for the best deals not only for myself but also for my friends. Based on the various travel sites I have gone to, I believe nothing beats Hotel Reservations in what they can offer. So, for your next travel to anywhere in the world, book it with Hotel Reservations and you will never go wrong!

Halloween costume ....

Halloween is coming folks and i'm sure you are already getting ready with your favorite halloween costume. Well, i haven't really done anything like that for halloween, i'm sure it would have been different if i got kids here. I just enjoy watching those kids in their cute halloween costumes. Hey, got you a funny joke i wanna share with you which i found hilarious! read on and have fun!

A cabbie picks up a Nun.
She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.She asks him why he is staring. He replies:"I have a question to ask you but I don't want to offend you."She answers, "My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.""Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me."She responds, "Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you have to be single and #2, you must be Catholic."The cab driver is very excited and says, "Yes, I'm single and Catholic!""OK" the nun says. "Pull into the next alley."The nun fulfills his fantasy, with a kiss that would make a hooker blush. But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying."My dear child," says the nun, "why are you crying?""Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess, I'm married and I'm Jewish."The nun says, "That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party."

I Have 100% Trust On TrustSource.org

Have you ever been in situations where you get different recommendations from people you trust about the same subject, for instance the best product for menopause or the best treatment for hair loss and everything. It gets so confusing, you don’t know who to listen to. I usually seek not only for second or third opinions, but more than that depending on the urgency of the matter. The more opinions I get, the better. And I guess I found the right place where I can depend on matters like these. TrustSource.org is where we could get the best recommendations on certain products as it provides the most accurate ranking on popular products in the market today. I see these rankings as very credible because these are based on different measures like consultations with people who actually tried the product, health care professionals, data sales and ranks, and customers ranking and reviews.
So when my brother-in-law was asking about the best treatment for his hair loss problem, I was so quick to suggest provillus, thanks to TrustSource.org! This site is a great help for people who are constantly looking for the best products for certain illness and health problems. I am always glad to share this site among my friends and they have always been grateful for that. The good thing is, TrustSource.org does not only rank health products but also sites that provide cash advance and payday loans for people who need emergency cash. It saves you a lot of time and trouble if you are pointed to the right direction and this is what TrustSource.org is here for. Check it out!

you think you can dance?

I can dance and i love dancing but of course not the break dancing and those fast dance steps i see among young kids, lol! I cannot even do the spaghetti dance which was famous among kids in the Philippines 4 years ago. I am only good for ballroom dancing and slow disco, hehe! My husband hates it whenever i ask him to dance and he never did! I have seen horses and dogs dance and they're just amazing! Here is video showing a dog with excellent skills. Boy, does he dance so well!

I Love My Online Fashion Store Tobi.com!

I definitely have grown bigger since I got here in the US in 2004! I could hardly fit in the clothes that I brought with me especially my denim jeans. I badly need new sets of denim jeans but I couldn’t find the ones I am comfortable with. I want something that is comfortable and would hide my growing “love handles,” lol! Thanks God, I found this amazing online fashion store called Tobi.com! I think I just found what I was looking for in their wide selection of seven for all mankind denim jeans! I think I would look better in a pair of seven for all mankind denim jeans hoping I might look slimmer on it, and since it is stretchable, it should be comfortable for me while hiding my unwanted bulges, lol!
Like me, my husband has also gained a lot of weight and he seldom wears his old denim jeans now. I guess I found something for him on Christmas – maybe a new pair of nudie jeans! He is not so conscious about fashion and I usually do the shopping for his clothes. I think he would look fine in a nudie!
the seven for all mankind denim jeans for me (L) and nudie jeans for hubby (R)

I love shopping online and Tobi.com just topped my list of online fashion stores I don’t mind visiting daily! You should take a peek at this site and find out why my friends and I love shopping at Tobi!

Thanks Francine!

I got a recognition award from dear Francine as one of the blogs she thought was creative. I really don't think mine shows creativity because i don't have that skill which i wished i have unlike most bloggers. But i am still so thankful that Francine finds my blog as creative, though! She said, and i quote:

"Tess - I haven’t talked to her that much but I’m starting to know her little by little. I find her nice and kind girl." Thanks for the finding me as a nice and kind girl and i try my best to stay that way. Here is the award i got from her:

The Easy Way To Get Cash Advance

Back when I was still in the Philippines, borrowing money from friends and relatives was so easy for me to do because it was a common practice there. Here in the US, I guess life is different. My husband told me, he is not so comfortable borrowing money even from his mom. Borrowing money, he warned me, is also difficult especially if you have a bad credit. Well, I guess he may be right, only if he doesn’t know that there are places where he could get financial help when he needs it. One great place is CashAdvance1500, an online site that could help you in getting fast cash advance and payday loans!

CashAdvance1500 has a list of reputable lenders where you can choose from, depending on your needs. The good thing about getting cash advance online is the convenience it offers; faster approval since everything is done online, more secure, and it gives you a lot of options, as long as you meet the basic requirements. Getting pay day loans is as easy as 1-2-3 at CashAdvance1500 because all you need to do is fill up the application form online, assuming you meet the basic requirements. If you are lucky and everything is OK, you will see your money right in you checking account the very next day! How cool is that? So, for tips and information on getting faster and safer cash advance and payday loans – getting approved, choosing the right lender, and how these work - CashAdvance1500 is always the way to go!

Kids in school think fast ....

Most of the time, kids think faster than us adults, they always have a ready answer although they also seem to have a ready question to every answer. When my kids were younger, they have endless questions, i sometimes give up. But i do admit that sometimes i find myself grasping for words or answers to their questions that i just say "will you just shut up and stop talking!" But in reality, i just don't know how to answer them, lol! Here are some kids and teacher sceeario in school that could affirm that kids think fast...

TEACHER: Why are you late?
WEBSTER: Because of the sign.
TEACHER: What sign?
WEBSTER: The one that says, "School Ahead, Go Slow."

TEACHER: Cindy, why are you doing your math multiplication On the floor?
CINDY: You told me to do it without using tables!

TEACHER: John, how do you spell "crocodile?"
TEACHER: No, that's wrong JOHN: Maybe it s wrong, but you asked me how I spell it!

TEACHER: What is the chemical formula for water?
TEACHER: What are you talking about?
SARAH: Yesterday you said it's H to O!

TEACHER: George, go to the map and find North America.
GEORGE: Here it is!
TEACHER: Correct. Now class, who discovered America?
CLASS: George!

TEACHER: Willie, name one important thing we have today that we didn't have 100 years ago.

TEACHER: Tommy, why do you always get so dirty?
TOMMY: Well, I'm a lot closer to the ground than you are.

TEACHER: Ellen, give me a sentence starting with "I."
ELLEN: I is...
TEACHER: No, Ellen..... Always say, "I am."
ELLEN: All right... "I am the ninth letter of the alphabet."

TEACHER: "Can anybody give an example of a COINCIDENCE?
JOHNNY: "Sir, my mother and Father got married on the same day, same time."

TEACHER: "George Washington not only chopped down his father's cherry tree, but also admitted doing it. Now do you know why his father didn't punish him?"
JOHNNY: "Because George still had the ax in his hand."

TEACHER: Now, Sam, tell me frankly, do you say prayers before eating?
SAM: No sir, I don't have to, my Mom is a good cook.

TEACHER : Desmond, your composition on "My Dog" is exactly the same as your brother's. Did you copy his?
DESMOND: No, teacher, it's the same dog!

TEACHER: What do you call a person who keeps on talking when people are no longer interested?
PUPIL: A teacher.

SYLVIA: Dad, can you write in the dark?
FATHER: I think so. What do you want me to write?
SYLVIA: Your name on this report card

Having Fun With Phelios Games

We were doing some cleaning last night and found so many pc games my husband bought which were barely used and some were not even used at all. And these are expensive games, what a waste! I told him about phelios games where he could play all kinds of games and try them first through their free download games before he buys it. That way, he would only buy what he really likes, in a much lower cost. Phelios is an independent developer of downloadable games for Windows and Macintosh. They continue to create games and developing new ones to reach a wider range of people with different interests and in all ages. So, in your spare time, visit Phelios and browse their games and download those you want and start playing. You can even ask to be notified about new game releases and updates! I am having a blast with phelios games especially their tycoon games while my husband is more interested in their mac games. Join us at Phelios and have fun!

In my previous post, we talked about how rampant corruption is and mind you, it is not only in the Philippines, it is worldwide! You would be amazed to know about the statistics. I have learned that even in rich countries like the USA, there is corruption. So, what then is the difference between the corruption in the Philippines and corruption in the US? Well, here is the answer: In the US, they go to jail. In the Philippines, they go to US! (joke, joke, joke!)

Pinoy hell...

It is amazing how we handle even the most serious problem our country has - corruption! That is what i like being a Filipino: we can make fun and laugh at our own problems, maybe the secret behind staying young-looking huh! Well, speaking of corruption, don't you know that it is so widespread that it even reaches hell? Read this joke about the Pinoy hell...

The cynicism is so obvious the only ones who ignore it are the public officials...

A Pinoy dies and goes to hell. There he finds that there is a different hell for each country. He goes first to the German hell and asks, "What do they do here?" He is told, "First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the German devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day." The man does not like the sound of that at all, so he moves on. He checks out the USA hell as well as the Russian hell and many more. He discovers that they are all more or less the same as the German hell.

Then he comes to the Filipino hell and finds that there is a very long line of people waiting to get in. Amazed he asks, "What do they do here?" He is told "First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Filipino devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day." "But that is exactly the same as all the other hells - why are there so many people waiting to get in?" Because there is always a brownout, so the electric chair does not work.Somebody stole all the nails to sell it "por kilo". And the devil used to be a public official, so he comes in, punches his time-card, shakes hands with all the people waiting there and then goes back home..."

Too fast, too arrogant!

One sunny morning, a Japanese decided to travel on different malls in the Philippines.
Japanese : how long did that Rustan built up?
Taxi driver : 8 months sir.
Japanese : too slow, in Japan very very fast, it will only take 6 months.
Then they continue to travel...
Japanese : that podium, how long did it take to built up?
Taxi driver : 5 months sir!
Japanese : very very slow, in Japan too fast, it will only take 3 months.
Upon seeing megamall..
Japanese : how about that building megamall?
Taxi driver: 3 months only sir!
Japanese: what? It's so slow, in Japan very very fast! It will only take 2 months!
The Japanese then decided to step down from the cab..
Japanese : how much will im gonna pay?
Taxi driver: P5,000 sir.
Japanese : too expensive!
Taxi driver: well sir, this meter was made in Japan that's why it count very very fast!
Nobody beats the pinoy, i tell yah!

My bitter este better half .......

This is another great tag from In-in! I asked hubby's permission first before i posted his pics here and he said it's fine with him so here he is:

husband at 4 years old (L) and 7 years old (R)

at 24 years old (L) and pic at right was taken taken 3 years ago (2004)

My husband's name is Larry Edward. We met online at SeniorFriendFinder (obvious ba na pang gurang, lol!). He has the patience of a saint, very loving, takes really good care of me and my kids and tries to adjust with my weird habits, lol! Maybe 20-30 years from now, we will be antik by then and already in our second childhood, hehehe! I hope both of us are still around by then and enjoying life with kids and grandkids. I would love to retire in the Philippines and he has thought of that too but we still don't know how things work.

Now, for those with papa and mama and jowa, etc, feel free to do this! Thanks and have fun!

Easy money...

An American attorney had just finished a guest lecture at a law symposium in Manila, when a Filipino lawyer approached him. The Pinoy lawyer asked, "Is it true, that a person can fall down on a sidewalk in your country and then sue the landowners for lots of money?"Told that it was true, the lawyer turned to his partner and started speaking rapidly in Tagalog. His partner grinned and began nodding vigorously. When they stopped, the American attorney asked if they wanted to move to America to practice law."No, no," one Pinoy attorney replied. "We want to move to America to fall down on sidewalks!"

You see, most people in the Philippines think that money is really easy to earn here. I used to think that way too although i always heard that it wasn't true! My dear kababayan, you may easily be compensated here but you also have to go through the ropes. We earn green money here but we also spend green money so it's all the same. I admit life here is more comfortable though, maybe because there is not much pollution, people don't give politics a big deal but i believe corruption is a wordwide problem even here in the US! So, are you still interested to come here and fall down the sidewalks? I bet, lol!

The Modern Inday

My friend Jane sent me this email about the modern Inday. Inday is the typical housemaid or babysitter rolled into one. Inday to me is our "angels" in the Philippine household. I used to depend a lot on Inday back in the Philippines because without her, I couldn't work and earn a living. Well, Inday has gone a long way. Our Inday has gone global. Let's take a look at the modern Inday. Thank you Jane for sharing this joke.
"I believe that my trained skills and expertise in management with the use of standard tools, and my discipline and experience will contribute significantly to the value of work that you want. My creativity, productivity and work efficiency and the high quality of outcomes I can offer will boost the work progress..."
- sagot ni Inday sa interview ng bago nyang amo! (Inday's reply when interviewed by her new employer)

"Potatoes, when consumed in their raw state are rapidly converted to glucose that raises insulin levels because of its simple sugar. When cooked in high temperatures like French fries, they produce large amount of free radicals in the body causing aging, clotting, inflammation, cancer, weight gain. One French fry is worse that one cigarette."
- sagot ni Inday sa amo nya kung bakit di sya nagluluto ng French fries. (Nutritionist din pala si Inday!) (Inday's reply when her employer asked her why she doesn't cook french fries. So Inday is also a nutritionist huh!)

"It's absurd! It was never a fact that he will inflict a fight. I can only imagine how you can handle schizophrenic kids on this educational institution. Revise your policies because it sucks!"
- Inday kasama si Junior sa principal's office. (Tulala ang principal) (Inday with Junior at the principal's office. The principal was shocked!)

Stop your raucous behavior. It is bound to result in property damages and if that happens there will be corresponding punishment inflicted upon you!"
- Inday, pinagbabawalan ang mga bata na wag malikot. (
Inday telling the kids to stop moving around).
"Nurture others with positive, ruthful words, not words that hurt. It doesn't cost anything to do so. But mean what you say, and say what you mean. If you cannot be generous financially, at least be generous with your words."
- yan ang sabi ni Inday nung di sya pinautang at pinagmumura pa ng amo nya. (
That's what Inday said to her employer when her employer denied her request to borrow money, and instead bad mouthed/cursed Inday)
"Dear Sir/Madam,
Attached herewith is a list of proposed acquisition in line with my proposal to upgrade your household facilities. I have already made initial survey of current market prices. Note however that prices could vary depending on the prevailing exchange rate and aggregate supply and demand which we also monitor on an hourly basis."
- si Inday, nagpapaalam para mamalengke! (Inday asking permission to go to the market)

"The consistency was fine. But you see, it seems that the increased amount of sodium chloride affected the taste drastically and those actions are irreversible. I do apologize."
- nageexplain si Inday kung bakit maalat ang ulam (aba, career much si Inday!) (
Inday explaining why the food she cooked was too salty)

"Listening to the nonsense talk about someone's life is a pathetic way of entertainment. It doesn't contribute to the good of the society. I hate character assassinators! "
- reklamo ni Inday ng natsismis sya ng kapitbahay! (di ko kinaya si Inday!) (
Inday about her being the subject of gossip by a neighbor)

Amo: Bakit nagkalat ang basura sa likod ng bahay?! (Employer asked why garbage is scattered all over the back of the house)
Inday: A change in weather patterns might have occurred, wreaking havoc to the surroundings. The way the debris are scattered indicates that the gust of wind was going northeast causing damage to the path it was heading for.
Amo: (nosebleed!) (Employer nosebled!)

Siguro naman nabasa nyo na ang resignation letter ni Inday. May bago nang career ngayon si Inday. Isa na syang... Call Center Agent! (I guess you already read Inday's resignation letter as she has changed career. Inday is now ... a Call Center Agent!)

I did some cleaning alright!

Since i wasn't getting any opps from PPP, i figured i better not sit here and sulk and instead do some cleaning up around here, something that makes my day productive, right? Sounds so noble huh! But i really did some cleaning and proud of it! I was just inspired by this cleaning poem i found at my favorite yahoo group and here it is:

I asked the Lord to tell me why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering' , and I had to answer "yes"
He told me to get off my butt and tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up…the smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside. That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found a real absorbing site
That I got SO way into.....I was into it all night.
Nothing's changed except my mouse; it's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...While I sit here on my hiney.

I got my template tweaked....

I opted not to look for another template so what i did was did some tweaking on my 2-column template and changed it to a 3-column one! I am happy i was able to do it! It takes time and a lot of patience though, it didn't work at first but i finally pulled it through! I still have lots to do here so please bear with me guys!

I lost my template, wahhhhhhhh!

I found a nice template from finalsense and started working on it. I added some widgets and did some tweaking but when i checked it again, everything is gone! I got no choice but to go back to one of the templates here at blogger but all of these are only with two columns. I want 3 columns so i could maximize the space. I guess i just have to leave it this way until i find a way how to do it and i would just add more widgets when everything in my template works fine. Still, nobody knows about the existence of this blog yet, there is nothing here worth reading anyway and i am not ready to share this with my friends yet ..... not just yet!

I finally got my own domain....

After searching on the net, i finally found the site where to get my own domain from. I got it from 1& 1 for a $2.99 price for the first year, i guess it is a promo price so i took advantage of it! The regular price is $5.99 per year and this is still very affordable, isn't it? With the $2.99, i can have 5 sub-domains and free hosting but i might just have it hosted here at blogspot as i'm not sure how the editing goes there, at least here i already got some basic knowlege on how to go about it! Now starts my search for a 3-column template which i couldn't find here. I need to search harder.

Getting frustrated...

I am getting frustrated with a lot of things right now. It seems that i am not getting opps from PPP for the past days. I needed to come up with some moola you know, and this PPP is not cooperating, lol! Well, i am just venting folks, don't mind me, i just need to let this out of my chest right now! I guess luck is not at my side these days. I hope the next days wont be that bad. Wish me luck! Thanks!

Looking for a domain....

I still don't know where to get myself my domain name and haven't decided yet whether i turn this blog into a domain or not. Let's see how it goes. I will let you know as soon as i get one. I guess i need it not only for my blogging for pay thing but also for my personal use. Nothing definite yet as of today. My mind keeps on changing by the day.
