An American attorney had just finished a guest lecture at a law symposium in Manila, when a Filipino lawyer approached him. The Pinoy lawyer asked, "Is it true, that a person can fall down on a sidewalk in your country and then sue the landowners for lots of money?"Told that it was true, the lawyer turned to his partner and started speaking rapidly in Tagalog. His partner grinned and began nodding vigorously. When they stopped, the American attorney asked if they wanted to move to America to practice law."No, no," one Pinoy attorney replied. "We want to move to America to fall down on sidewalks!"
You see, most people in the Philippines think that money is really easy to earn here. I used to think that way too although i always heard that it wasn't true! My dear kababayan, you may easily be compensated here but you also have to go through the ropes. We earn green money here but we also spend green money so it's all the same. I admit life here is more comfortable though, maybe because there is not much pollution, people don't give politics a big deal but i believe corruption is a wordwide problem even here in the US! So, are you still interested to come here and fall down the sidewalks? I bet, lol!

my parents are working in US aswell, they keep on telling me that I should be careful spending my money. I been there and saw them working, I know its hard. Only if I am mayaman, pababalikin ko sila dito sa Pilipinas at magbuhay mayaman, too bad I'm not, and that's life. bakit ganun, its hard to earn money pero ang dali nilang gastusin. hehehe.. nice blog btw. :)
